Kang Contemporary is pleased to present Breaking the Grid, Annette Cords’ first solo exhibition in Berlin. The show brings together Cords’ large-scale Jacquard tapestries, smaller hand-woven pieces, and works on paper.

Die Ausstellung Vitalistic Fantasies, Token von Isabelle Graw, nutzt die Begriffe poetische und subjektive Qualitäten, um einen Raum zu schaffen, in dem zeitgenössische abstrakte Malerei im Dialog mit dem Betrachter, miteinander und schließlich als lebendiges System der Kunst platziert werden kann. In dieser Anordnung ist der Betrachter wieder aktiver Teilnehmer am Gemälde, während er dessen Sein interpretiert und verhandelt.
