Mission:
This time is a challenge, because the old ways are over and new ways must be seen and also walked.
Art always has a great impact on society, it can give a vision, it speaks out what is deep inside and can also provoke old norms.
The artist Susanne Rikus wants to give people hope in themselves.
“Art is food for the soul, therefore it gives strength to enlighten your vision of the future.”
To move from fear to love and from mistrust to trust.
She is an international freelance artist who not only stands behind her easel, but also runs her own gallery in one of the hottest places in the Berlin art scene, Berlin-Mitte, Heckmann Höfe.
She thinks outside the box and creates a space where collectors and gallery visitors can feel a lightness and a touch of spring or infatuation.
Susanne Rikus invested all her time to make this happen, to reach visitors from all over the world, and she also teaches young groups about ancient principles and practices that lead to a more stable and joyful life.
Hawaii, Canada, Sardinia and Mexico were the places where she studied the principles of ancient architecture and healing.
Her own life was thrown into turmoil by a serious car accident that changed her life.
Never give up, embrace fear, embrace questions about the future, and give others space to draw strength and create a future we love.
This is her latest exhibition in her gallery.
People have asked her why she has her own gallery?
She is now speaking out what is needed and breaking out of conservative definitions of art.
Rikus herself is different, she is loving, giving and extroverted with a deep sensitivity and a great mission.
In Germany, as an artist, as a woman, and as a 50-something with this passion, it's hard to be accepted in the art scene, but she shows when you have a mission and go for it, it will blossom.
That is why she owns her own gallery and has international visitors from all over the world.
Her last art sales were in Washington DC and Barcelona, all by American collectors.
Since 2021 she shows her art on artsy and since 2014 she owns her gallery in Heckmann Höfe, where several TV stations have filmed a documentation.
